Introduction
Here’s the thing about staying warm outdoors when you’ve got limited space: you don’t want a bulky heater taking up precious room. That’s exactly why we built our wall-mounted patio heaters. We focused on a direct-radiant design, powered by high-output halogen quartz tubes. The whole point? Delivering intense, focused heat right where you need it, without eating up floor space. It’s the kind of solution that makes sense for busy commercial patios, where every square inch counts.
The Tech, Without the Fluff
These heaters are built for serious warmth. They run at 2500W, on a 400V line. Why that voltage? It keeps the electrical draw manageable, so you don’t have to rewire half the building just to get the heat you need. And the tubes? They’re kept short—about 300mm. That means you can mount the heater in tight corners and still get the coverage you want. No fuss, just targeted heat.
What’s Inside Matters
At the heart of it all is a halogen-filled quartz tube. Quartz is tough—it handles the quick on-and-off cycles without cracking under the pressure. And that halogen cycle? It keeps the heat output steady, even as the tube ages. We went with an R7s base because it’s simply practical. It locks the tube in place, carries the electrical load, and makes swapping out a tube a quick, simple job. No disassembling the whole unit. Just pop the old one out, pop the new one in. Easy.
Real-World Use, Real-World Perks
Once it’s wired up, the heater just becomes part of the setup. A dependable heat source for outdoor areas that see a lot of foot traffic. Because it’s wall-mounted, it stays out of the way. And that short-wave output? It kicks in fast, sending warmth exactly where you point it. Just keep in mind, because the heat is so focused, you’ll want to pay attention to clearances. And make sure your mounting surface can handle the heat and the load. But once that’s sorted, you’ve got a reliable warmth solution that just works.
