These heaters are built for the long haul, running hard at 2500W to pack a serious punch in a small area. We went with a 400V rating for a practical reason: it keeps the current down. That means you don’t need bulky wiring, and it’s easier on the connections out on the shop floor. With a 300mm tube, we concentrate all that heat into a tight zone. You get predictable warmth right where you need it, no guesswork.
The Inside Story
Inside the quartz tube, the halogen element keeps the filament running strong, which means the output stays stable over the life of the unit. A reflective coating makes sure the heat goes forward—where you want it—instead of spilling out the sides. The R7s connector? A solid, no-fuss choice. It handles the high current, snaps in quickly, and gives you a secure connection every time. Quartz and the coating can handle rapid temperature swings, but here’s the thing: with this much heat density, you absolutely need proper clearance and airflow.
